Haos Ek? Expand Market to Indonesia after Singapore

JOHOR BAHRU: Local beverage company, Haos Ek? is now expanding its market to Indonesia after its products received an overwhelming response in Singapore.

Chief Executive Officer of Adin Marketing Group Sdn Bhd (Haos Ek? Anis Permin said the company was working with Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Bhd (Angkasa) and had drawn up a strategic framework to strengthen its product position in the country.

He said Indonesia was the second largest market for the company’s products after Singapore.

“This year we have started to penetrate the market in Indonesia and the first site we have strengthened is in Batam, the reception has been very good so far.”

“We are putting together a strategic framework and strengthening the distribution network with key people to be appointed. Our target is next year, the products will be massively marketed there,” he told Bernama, here, Saturday.

He said this after launching the Haos Ek? Misi Bakara @ Hari Malaysia movie shop at Beletime Shopping Mall, here.

Anis said he was confident that the local flavored beverage products could meet the taste of the people in Indonesia.

He said this could be seen from the demand for their products, which consisted of Bandung Pink, Chocolate, Teh Tarik, Kopi Peng and Kopi O flavors, which received an overwhelming response from the country and Singapore.

He said the Singapore market, which was penetrated earlier this year, recorded sales of more than 250,000 bottles from January to July.

“We have introduced all the flavors and our best selling product there is Teh Tarik.
This shows that the local drinks are in line with their tastes.By the end of this year, we expect sales to rise to half a million bottles,” he said.

The company has also launched two new drinks, Vanilla Latte and Liberica Mocha.

Earlier, a total of 45 students and teachers from Maahad Tahfiz Sains Al Insyirah watched the movie “Malbatt: Misi Bakara” to celebrate Malaysia Day.
